  •   This hefty "chipping knife" is made by Crown Tools in Sheffield, England. The knife is also known as a hacking knife. It is a stout & heavy-duty knife that's great for use as a glazier knife for glazier's work, general hacking, or use as a lightweight froe & splitting small pieces of wood even. The blade is made from high carbon steel & is hardened & tempered. The back of the blade is exposed for hammering on, & rivets attach the thick solid blade to the leather handle.   A quality tool.   Made in Sheffield, England.
