The Buck Knives 662 Alpha Scout Pro Knife has a blade made of S35VN Stainless Steel & a textured richlite handle. The perfect fixed blade knife for detailed work on large-game or to process whitetail or small game. A high-panel flat grind adds strength to the blade that allows you to cut with confidence. Jimping at the top of the blade gives you control when using different grips on the knife for detail work. The purpose-designed textured handle gives you a trusted grip, even in wet conditions. • S35VN Stainless Steel ~ This martensitic stainless steel provides supreme edge retention with a combination of ductility, hardness, toughness & corrosion resistance. For best performance Buck Knives hardens to a Rockwell hardness of Rc 59-61.
• Blade Shape - Drop Point ~ This blade is full bellied with a strong, thick point for heavier tasks. It can also be used as a general work knife. The top of the blade drops down toward the tip, which minimizes accidental puncturing while skinning. The drop point blade is strong & very versatile.
